Patrizia Manzini
Contemporary Art
I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, in an environment filled with art. My mother, a painter and art teacher, introduced me early on to the world of colors, shapes, and light. That creative universe naturally became my compass.
In 2010, I moved to Bologna, Italy, with my three sons, bringing with me the warmth and energy of my roots. I specialized in decorative arts, including trompe l'oeil, murals, optical illusions, wall effects, illustration, and digital art. I studied Graphic and Industrial Design in Caracas, and later deepened my knowledge of painting, drawing, and illustration through private workshops with various artists.
Over time, I’ve applied my artistic creativity to objects and spaces, always aiming to evoke emotion, spark reflection, communicate, and share beauty in a sincere and meaningful way.
Recycling plays a key role in my work. I’m inspired by forgotten or discarded objects—those that seem to have no further use but still hold stories. I love to reinvent them, giving them a new life beyond their original function.
At the same time, I’ve always created freely: painting, sculpting with recycled materials, and exploring different styles until I connected with an aesthetic that truly represents me—rich in color, symbols, and a touch of the ethnic.
My work is known for its light, joy, and freshness, and it reflects my ongoing search for harmony in everything I create.
